ACTIVHEAL® ACADEMY

HOW TO GUIDE

The ActivHeal® Academy is a multi-tiered education programme designed to support clinicians of all levels with easily accessible, online education resources.

 

The ActivHeal® Academy is comprised of two sections, the Simplified Guides and a series of five comprehensive wound care modules. The Simplified Guides are short and concise aimed at helping clinicians in their day to day practice. A range of different topics are available in hard copy and online. Resources are continuously updated to ensure clinicians have relevant information at their fingertips.

REGISTERING WITH THE ACTIVHEAL® ACADEMY

The ActivHeal® Academy is accessible via the ActivHeal® website www.activheal.com.
Click on the ActivHeal® Academy tab and log in or register with your email address and password.

Account activation Each sign up receives a confirmation email.

PERSONALISING YOUR ACCOUNT

Once logged in, your personal dashboard will provide access to your available content, progress reports and support. You can update and personalise your dashboard at any time by clicking on the cog icon. 

Personalised profile and cover photos
Make it your own by personalising your dashboard with your preferred photos.

Information settings
Personal information can be updated at any time. Just click the cog and select ‘EDIT PROFILE’.

ACCESS TO THE SIMPLIFIED GUIDES

The full range of Simplified Guides are available upon registration and can be found under the ‘Courses’ tab. The guides can be viewed online or downloaded.

ACCESSING COURSE MATERIAL

Each Simplified Guide provides access to a variety of topics ranging from wound assessment to dressing selection. After your test and reflection have been completed, a certificate of achievement is available.

The Academy is mobile-friendly, enabling you to learn on the go.

Learn at your pace
Access and complete courses at a time that suits you.

TAKING THE TEST

After each Simplified Guide or module, you can choose to complete a short multiple choice test related to each topic. Click on ‘Start Test’ to begin.

At this stage in your journey there is an option for you to download the Simplified.

TEST RESULTS AND MARKING

Upon completing your test, you will be able to view your results.
Tests can be retaken if required.
After successful completion, a certificate of achievement will be emailed to you. Certificates will also be available to download from your dashboard.

Get your test results straight away.

Supports CPD
Completion of courses will support your Continuing Professional Development and revalidation.

PROGRESS

You can track your progress under the ‘My Progress’ tab. Each Simplified Guide and course module has a progress overview where you can find your scores, statistics and also access your certificates.

REPORTS & GROUP OVERVIEW

Designated group leaders can track the progress of their team’s training from their dashboard. Progress and results can be exported in a spreadsheet format.

Reporting and group overview function is exclusive to complete guide members.

ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST TIER

The highest tier of education will be visible from your dashboard as modules, however, access is reserved for ActivHeal® customers.
